1. Launch your Google Chrome Browser and visit a website (SmartBuzzing.Com)

2. Now, to check whether the website is safe to explore for more information, look at the Security status (which is located at the “Refresh Sign“) at the top-left corner area.

3. If the website has a secure connection, you will see a lock (padlock). This is an indication that the website is safe and secure to explore and that your information (including passwords, Credit card numbers, and other relevant information) is private when sent to the website. See images below:

4. Now, if a website is not secure to browse, there are basically two indications. See the image below:

From the image above, when a website security status shows that sign, it means the site does not use a secure connection. The information you send or receive through that site may be viewed or changed by others. In most cases, when it happens like this, you will need to replace “http://” with “https://“.
