The Logitech Signature M650 Wireless Mouse has been a trusty companion for the past six months. I’ve used it for everything from casual browsing to intense work sessions, and I’m here to share my honest thoughts and experiences.

First Impressions

Right out of the box, I was impressed with the sleek and simple design of the M650. It’s compact and lightweight, making it comfortable to hold for extended periods. The smooth, contoured shape fits naturally in my hand, and the rubberized sides provide a good grip.

Connectivity and Performance

The M650 offers both Bluetooth and USB receiver connectivity options. I primarily use Bluetooth, and it has been consistently reliable. I haven’t experienced any lag or dropped connections, even when working with multiple devices simultaneously.

The performance of the mouse is excellent. The sensor is accurate and responsive, making it easy to navigate around my screen and precisely control the cursor. The scroll wheel is smooth and offers two modes: a standard scroll for everyday use and a hyper-fast scroll for quickly scrolling through long documents or web pages.

The M650 comes with two customizable side buttons that can be programmed to perform various functions, such as forward/backward browsing, volume control, and opening specific applications. I love the convenience of these buttons and find myself using them frequently.

Another noteworthy feature is the silent click technology. The clicks are significantly quieter than a traditional mouse, which is a huge plus for anyone who works in a shared space or doesn’t want to disturb others.

Battery Life

Logitech claims a battery life of up to 24 months, and I haven’t had to replace the batteries yet after six months of moderate use. This is a significant advantage over other mice that require frequent battery replacements.
