Step #1: Install FolderSync

To begin the process, you need to have the app installed on your device. If you haven’t already, download and install the FolderSync app from the Google Play Store. Here is a complete guide.

Step #2: Grant Necessary Permissions

When you first launch the app, it will ask for various permissions. Grant the necessary permissions for the app to access your files and folders on your device.

Step #3: Create a Cloud Account

To backup data to Google Drive, you’ll need to create a cloud account within FolderSync. Here’s how to do it:

  • Click on the “Cloud” tab within the app.
  • Click on the “+” button to add a new cloud account.
